I am very upset by this new system. My job security is gone. What scares me is that I could get a supervisor that hates my guts and the supervisor could choose to fire me for no other reason then the fact that she does not like me. I had a supervisor once that did not like me and she told me over and over that she did not like me and that if it was in her control that I would be gone. I did my job above what was expected of me and she could not have me fire because of job performance. If I get another supervisor like this one, I would be fire for no cause. I am also concerned about a supervisor deciding what my pay should be. Under the new system, a supervisor can choose not to give a pay raise not based on job performance, but based on personal feeling for an employee. Under the old system at least every three years a employee that had good job performance could get a step increase. It was something to look forward to. Now I may never get a pay increase. This new system also will allow favoritism in the work place. People could be fired for no reason and be replaced by a friend of the supervisor.
