I'm a DoD employee in NY and the cost to live here, though included in pay, should be higher. What is included now is not nearly enough to help me live as I'm in my 30's making 33 thousand and have been with the DoD for 11 yrs..I"m living with parents....I hope I'm understood. Also, Mke job promotions (within the job one is in)easier. Again, I"ve been here 11 yrs and havent gotten it, though I've tried..If not, then make raises in my job easier. I shouldn't have to leave what I already know. Learning from the botton up again in order to make more imoney s kind of 'out there'. And i twon't be fair if I don't get a good raise if a supervisor doesn't like me for no reason, so I hope an appeals process would be easy (IF NECESSARY) Cmpetition of jobs should be more fair, some jobs aren't afvertised, etc..and the next thing you know, you've lost it. Spoused shouldn't just 'get it'. So, I hope thses changes will be considered and improved upon. I"m not being of-color. Thank you.
