Vetereran's preference gone. I hear both sides. Some say veteran's preference is gone for RIF purposes. Some say it is still active for finding federal employment. I cannot get an answer form our Civilian Personnel Office. Regardless, any erosion of this preference is just another slap in the face to our veterans. Another false promise. How many benefits have been taken away like free medical care for vets and their families for life. Tell this to our men and women serving in Iraq!
