I feel the the NSPS system is heading us down the road to disaster. People will not want to do their job quickly because they will be afraid of making a mistake and getting fired. This might also force some individuals to hide their mistakes, especially now that we are doing the work of 4 or 5 people. You are asking people to do more with less and in the same breath telling them that they do not deserve to be treated fairly. I have worked for some bosses that no matter how hard I tried I was NOT given a fair shake. What this system is doing is bringing back the "good ol' boy" way of doing business. This will also cause resentment with some workers. Your thinking that this will allow you to hire more qualified people but I feel that it will have the reverse effect, epsecially when the people you want to hire see how many road blocks they have to traverse to accomplish their job. Once this system is fully implemented I will not be able to, in all good conscience, be able to recommend the DOD as a good organization to work for. Not when you are going to treat your dedicated workers with such disrespect.
