I thought DOD was trying to get rid of the good ole boy network. I see it's coming back in a different format NSPS. Twenty years ago Supervisors had Carte Blanche when it came to giving out monetary awards and if you weren't in the click you got the bare minium and the good ole boys got thousands of dollars. A stop was put to that and the Max you could get was 2% of your salary. Another fault I see is senority doesn't count for anything. A new person can come off the street hire at the same grade and make more than you and you have been in the job for over 25 years. I hope people don't get postal. I know the comments want make a difference because the employees was never asked in the beginning about the PROS/CONS of the old system. I think the old system was pretty good. Make Supervisors responsible! If a person is dead weight than get rid of them.
