1. Federal Labor Relations Board -- Since this board is already in existance, it seems a total waste of money, as well as an inefficient use of resources an man-power, to create a brand new board that will accomplish (maybe) what the original board was designed to accomplish. 2. The collective bargaining agreement -- We, the workers/teachers, have worked assiduously to obtain certain rights guaranteed under the Constitution. Therefore, how can the Dept. of Defense assume that it can renounce/override directives from Congress concerning collective bargaining? It would appear that the Dept. of Defense is proving the fact that this government has become tryrranical rather than anything close to democratic. 3. Due Process -- the NSPS proposals would deny employees their right to due process, especially concerning a fair hearing of their appeals. If the Dept. of Defense reserves the right to make unilateral decisions, even to reversing the decisions of a MSPB administrative judge, we might as well throw the Constitution into the nearest trash bin because redress of grievances is basic to our rights as citizens of a free country, NOT a totalitarian conspiracy to eradicate 200 years of growth and rights.
