What is the goal here, to retain all employee who are contributing to the defense and success of this system. What war are we fighting? I hope not the one to rid good employees. Giving supervisor that much authority will not improve the system.Where is the balance here? Getting rid of the union leave us defenless. Allowing a supervisor to keep you over or change the schedule without proper notification is not democracy. What war are we fighting? We have worked hard to suport our country and now we have a system that will effect the pay, retirement and the security of our workers. 1. Wll we keep the same pay status we have now and use it as a base line to decide pay in crease? 2.The retirement system will it stay the same or will it be replaced? If you have 3-10 years to retire will you be grand fathered in or will you loose that time? 3.Will civilians be deployed overseas through this new system? Will we receive pro pay or professional pay, or pay for those who have attended school or any program to better them slelves? 4. Why can't the unon stay as it is because you need a Union that is not of the system to represent the people? 5. So if you eliminate the GS- system and the pay band will replace it what will happen to my pay grade, will I keep it or will I drop? Ex: Gs 7, will I keep the GS 7 pay? 6. What about the people in a special pay status because of a rif, will they loose that status or keep that status? 7. That to much power to give a supervisor, you need a check and balance system and he will have to have documenttion and letter to show he identify, attempt to resolve , followup,. attemtp then a denial. We spend millions and billions to make the world safe and have democracy, please spend time for us the American and the work force that is here to protect and serve. Changes bring fear we are cutting and cutting because of the budget, but we spend and spend to the world but to American we must cut the budget.Please take care of our employeees here in this country. May God be with us. This is like a movie called State of Emergemncy. Don't rush this take time Have we joined the Euro Union?
