Comments:
For years I have commented that the Civil Service System needs to be revamped to better represent present needs and expedite the hiring and firing process. The NSPS is not it! This system is wide open to the “good ole boy” syndrome with employee rights taken away and supervisory discretion unchecked. The current guidelines also have too many areas undefined or to be determined. I am adamantly against implementation of this system in its present form.
