Comments:
I feel that the NSPS proposal will strip away the rights of DOD employees. Our labor associations will have no right to bargain for working conditions, compensation and benefits. Labor representatives will not be able to advocate for workers in labor disputes, disciplinary or dismissal issues. It will create a new labor relations review board to do what the current impartial labor review board is already doing. It will give the Secretary of Defense the power to appoint persons to this board. This brings the issue of bias into play. This will take away the employees ability to have a fair and impartial hearings of their cases. Will this desolution of employee rights improve national security? I think not. What it will do is undermine employee moral.
