Regarding the letter of 2/15 which states: "I am so glad to see that my government is finally going to conpenstate it's workers in the maner that all other employed people are compenstated. Using the merit system will cause some complaining in the begining but then the slackers will quit and we will be left with the achivers. Go for it." My goodness! I count six spelling/grammatical errors in those two sentences!! (I added the period which was missing). Surely that person is not more than a GS-3; if he/she is, something is wrong with the system! I'm glad I'm one of the "achivers" who will be "compenstated."
