This is a glossal step BACK for the government worker. While the concept seems valid, in actuality the implementation encourages abuse by those in authority. America is at war. We are fighting to help bring democracy into the world and lives of people that have been under abusive dictatorships. Why would we REVERT to this in the American DoD workplace? NSPS will divert attention for support to the warfighter to looking over our shoulders, watching our peers to see that they are working as hard as us, counting the number of times a peer laughs with the supervisor and the number of times the supervisor may laugh with us. It makes me shudder to think that some individuals that are in management positions now would have this type of power and authority. This is and URGENT request to PRESERVE FAIRNESS towards DoD employees and PRESERVE the Union agreements that have been reached to date. Again, the NSPS would be a huge step backwards--away from democracy in our DoD world. Shame on those that would venture in any direction that leads away from democracy. God Bless America, God Bless our Troops, God Bless and Preserve our Democracy. VR, Helene Tunney
