WHILE I SUPPORT MORE DIRECT "SAYING" FROM FIRST LINE SUPERVISORS; I FEEL THAT GIVING MANAGEMENT DIRECT INPUT AS TO WHO GET A PROMOTION OR IN SOME CASES WHO QUALIFIES FOR A "RIF" WILL CREATE MORE PROBLEMS AND PREVENT EQUALITY. LET'S GIVE FIRST LINE SUPERVISORS THE TOOLS TO DIRECT AND HAVE A FAIR ASSESEMENT OF THEIR EMPLOYEES, THE POWER TO MAKE ON THE SPOT CORRECTIONS AND IMPLEMENT SOLUTIONS AS WELL AS PUNISHMENT, ALL IN A POSITIVE WAY TO MAINTAIN A GOOD WORK FORCE IN GOVERNMENT. TRAINING MUST BE GIVEN TO THESE FIRST LINE SUPERVISORS TO SEPARATE BUSSINES WITH THE PERSONAL.
