Secretary Rumsfeld: Under the pretents of National Security, Mr. Rumsfeld is trying to eliminate the rights of Civil Service Employees and Create a Federal Government Sector of Salvery. Mr. Rumsfeld need to relize that a Revolutionary War was fought in the 1700 hundereds for the very right that Mr. Rumsfeld is trying to take away from Civil Service Employees. (a.) The right to earn a descant wage and support our Family (b.) The Persuit of Happiness. A Civil War was fought to eliminate Slavery and here is Mr. Rumsfeld imposing slavery To Civil Service Employees. He is trying to create a sector of Federal Goverment that he is imposing a propsal that Civil Service Employees have no right to defend himself or herself from injustice from supervision and supervisors can stel from civil service employees and reward others by creating a society of nepoti9sm, brown nosing with no regards to the right of employees. It is ironic that Mr. Rumsfeld is introducing this type of changes and states that it is because of National Security. Our Country's soldiers are dying for the basic rights of Democracy in IRAQ. The fredom of Speech and Democracy are ther rights that Mr. Rumsfeld is trying to take from the Civil Service Enmployees and the same rights that our soldiers are dying for in Foreign Countries. Mr. Rumsfeld should be ashamed that the very right that our soliers are dying for are the rights that Mr. Rumsfeld is trying to take from Americans and Civil Rights Employees. (a.) Taking Civil Service Employees Pay. (b.) Imposing Slavery (c.) The Right for Civil Service Employee to defend themselves. (d.) An Honest Day Pay for Honest days work 4. Veterans Preference: (a.) Mr. Rumsfeld is saying that our soliers are good enough to go and defend and die for our Country;'s freedom and civil rights but he does not have give a Veterans Preference for a Goverment job. (b.) Our Disabled Veterans are going to be judged in job performance so that he will not be able to get a wage. (c.) It does matter what kind of sacfrice that Veterans have paid that they will not be given any perference to get Government jobs.
