I am outraged with the proposed NSPS pay plan. NSPS will take something as critical as a person's financial well being and place it into the hands of a subjective supervisor. There will be supervisors who will never give any of their employees a raise or bonus simply because they will have that power. My family's future is now dependent upon the mood of my supervisor not upon the dedication I have to civil service through my years in service nor upon my work ethic. To not be rewarded for longetivity is preposterous! To worry that my pay will be changed at the whim of a supervisor is frightening. NSPS makes me worried to be in civil service. This will create an atmosphere of hostility in the work place.
