I feel that it is unfair for managment to be allowed to give raises. This would not be fair to the employee as well as the manager. It puts a lot of pressure on each one when we all already have a tough job to do let alone worry if you will be getting a raise. If you are not liked but do a good job you may not get as high as a pay raise as someone who does less than you but is well liked. I can see giving someone a bonus for going above and beyond but we already have this in place with the reward system. We as employees need to be involved in the decisions too many times someone else makes the decisions for us and they have no idea what it is like to do our work. I feel that if the majority of employees disagree with these new proposals then they shold not be implemented.
