Subpart D Section 9901.409 Not a good idea to disregard Veterans Preference. How could anyone who has served this nation in the military in times of conflict and peace be regarded as a normal employee in times of downsizing? How could anyone feel that someone who has risked their neck for the welfare of this nation be regarded as someone who can be done away with? Using performance rating is okay (to an extent) but don't agree with the idea of not considering Veterans Preference during times of RIF.
