NSPS is a total deception for what it's been touted to be. It WILL NOT improve the current system that's in place. It will only lead to more distrust between the workforce and management. Management has the tools to do everything that it wants - HIRE, FIRE, DEMOTE, REPREMAND, etc. Just because it does not use them does not mean that the system is a fault and needs to be replaced. Senior leaders need to be held accountable for not doing what they are paid to do. What NSPS will do to the Federal worker is disgraceful. It’s a dishonor to those of us who’ve honorably served our country - to be treated with such a total lack of respect. NSPS will cause the greatest exodus of skilled and knowledgeable federal employees – those who remain will be letf without any type of mentors to train them with the requisite skills vital to maintain the equipment used by warfighter. This great country will pay the ultimate price for this lack of foresight like never before. NSPS will cause widespread disruption in the workforce that will wreak havoc for years to come. I doubt my words will cause any change to what’s about to unfold, but I would hope and pray that somehow, someone or something will stop this run away train before its too late.
