This program is not going to work for DOD employees. Clearly, and I do mean clearly this is a move to 'reduce' the workforce via newly created regluations that place employees in a 'forced' situation. It places employees in a lower compensation level than pre-NSPS. Once again this program is a move to eliminate as many current DOD employees as possible to offset the snafu that Pres Bush made by invading IRAQ and wasting billions of dollars. The rich people in this country are left rich and the hardest working people of all are left shouldering the majority of the load. It also suggests that if there is no work project the DOD employee will be placed on furlough. Whose fault is it that there is no work? When jobs are continually contracted out we have no work. NSPS is just another costly, time consuming effort, designed clearly to reduce the DOD civilian workforce. Too much federal control. And to think I fought in two wars to ensure this country's freedom.
