I DON'T believe that after 50 years of conducting business the same way, congress now wants to change...soooo TYPICAL! Why not CHANGE THEIR pay or performance system FIRST and then if it's successful, THEN they can try it on us little people. The FAIR way of doing this is to go through the UNION and OBVIOUSLY the UNION are being bypassed. This is VERY unfair and needless to say...OBVIOUSLY has not been thought of very long...although being where it's coming from does not surprise me. These people need to apply this NEW SYSTEM to themselves up at the WHITEHOUSE and pay themselves according to their PERFORMANCE in their high positions. If we could start up there, we sure could filter out lots of humans that are taking up space for apparently no reason, or for STUPID decision making of this type (NSPS). We could save BILLIONS of dollars starting there!! The good old boy system starts at the top. I say they need to PURIFY that area first and replace ALL those people with new, fair, HONEST, considerate, loyal, trustworthy people...instead of the GOOD OLD BOY SYSTEM. If they could start this NSPS system at CONGRESS level, we could get LOTS OF RAISES in our paychecks and enjoy life and make ends meet much better instead of living paycheck to paycheck. Too much POLITICS plays a vital role in our job and that's very, very unfair to those of us who are sincere about working and perform our job the best we can and still get booted to the curb because it's not WHAT WE KNOW BUT WHO WE KNOW in order to move up in grade or pay. Someone really needs to look at this WHOLE picture. Rumsfield is probably getting a very good raise for implementing this system that is going to hurt many of us. The MAIN problem is that everyone in that WHITEHOUSE does not truly care how many of us have to struggle living paycheck to paycheck and every penny they save from implementing this NSPS will be a penny more in THEIR POCKETS!! What kind of FAIRNESS is this suppose to be?? I feel NSPS should be practiced in the WHITEHOUSE first and let's see if it works there before us. THAT'S where the big bucks begin!! It's easy to make decisions when people have no idea of what others are going through. I believe this NSPS should be done away with and sent to the RECYCLE BIN!!
