I do not agree with this NSPS. I am hispanic and what I am reading in this proposal is that the Supervisor now can get rid of me at anytime. Now I know for you, it probably doesn't present a problem but you obviously have not worked for someone who is prejudice. I have, and even though I am an excellent worker, I have been passed up for promotions/jobs even though I have an excellent record. Now with this proposal, they don't even need an excuse to kick me out the door. We've come such a long way with fair hiring so why do you want to put us back to the old days when they fired you because of the heritage. I've worked for the government over 15 years and I know what a supervisor is capable of doing if given the power. His word is mostly always taken over the employee. This new proposal will only cause prejudism to flourish. Also, the pay raises will go only to the supervisor pets, favorites, etc... It will also be used to keep other races down in the lower pay brackets. We've come a long way, please do not let this proposal go through, it will only set us back. All you have to do is look at the U.S. history to know what will happen.
