I am writing to express my concerns about changes to the work rules in the Department Of Defense, known as the National Security Personnel System. I am sending a copy of this letter to my representives in Congress also. I have served in the Armed Forces and now i am a Department of Defense employee and we work hard and are comitted to our jobs and our country. NSPS destroys any chance of a workers right to pay raises and fair treatment by allowing managers to choose who they want to promote and give raises to. A person could be one of the best in his job but if his manager does not like them could receive no pay raises etc. Why go to this system if this is allowed? I know I have been in this situation before in a previous job and that is one of the main reasons i quit it and moved on. I was not being treated fairly and equaly. Please do not allow this to happen. I do my job to the best of my ability and always have and always will but if I feel my job and future are in jepordy why should I ? Please help us to stop this unfair treatment before it starts. Thank You
