I am very angry that the Secretary of Defense wants to implement something such NSPS. I think that ii is a very, very unfair systme and think we should leave things as they are. I'm sure if this system were affecting high positions as the one he holds, it would be out of the question. Under the Cilivian Deployment. just the idea that myself as a Civilian can be deployed overseas. If I wanted to deploy overseas, I think I would have joined the Mikitary after College. I think that is totally unfair. I'm also angry that the systme proposals want to treat employees who help defend our country as the enemy; which we are not. Sound like that "good-ole-boy" system to me. One in which if your supervisor or manager doesn't like you even if you are doing your job exceptionally well, is able to make your life miserable and has the say-so whether you receive an increase or not. A workers salary being judged by a manager. How would you like this system for yourself? I don't think you would like it that much. Keep GS/WS grades as they are. The fact that a supervisor can basically come up tp you as you're walking out of the door and request that you stay; is wrong, totallly wrong. I'm angry that under GS employess pay was/is clear and was funded by Congress and should be left as it is. My question to Mr Rumsfield is this, how would he like to be under a system like this??? LEAVE THE SYSTEM AS IT IS...
