I understand that the new system is being created to get rid of the so-called deadwood in the system. (Non-Performing Personnel). But my question is how can an older employee nearing retirement at 65 or 67 years of age be able to phisically keep up with a 20 year old employee? The manager in this situation would legally by your new standards justify taking away the older persons pay because he isn't fast enough on the job. Or just get rid of him outright. If this doesn't scream of 'AGE DISCRIMINATION' then I don't know what does. Can DOD be legally sued in a case like this?
