This comment is pertaining to the satements made on the web sites fact sheet page. How will supervisors be accountable. The last line states that they will also be subject to pay and performance provisions and their pay will be affected by how well they perform their duties. We work for the DOD. Most of the supervisors are MILITARY and dont care about this new policy. They get promoted by time and grade. Also the congress gives them pay raises and cost of living increases. How can they be monitored by this system and why would they care. Most military or stationed in a place for usually only 2 to 3 years. They really dont know their employees as well as a civilian supervisor who has being doing that job for 15 to 20 years nor do they really care. They will leave soon and it does not matter to them. It is just another stopping point for them during their duty. The old system takes this into consideration and was developed for this purpose. Military -DOD is very different than the outside workforce because of this constant changing of personnal. Continuity, Longvity and seniority is the backbone of DOD.
