To Whom it May Concern, I have been working with the military personnel since I moved here to Twentynine Palms in 1986. Anyway, I am with NAF paybanding, but have lots of relatives and friends on the civil service side and Crafts & Trades or to you GS and WG or whatever. Since I come aboard the base personnel military life; At first it was hard until I get to know all the Managers and Personnel Staff and their system. With NSPS takes effect now, I don't know what kind of workforce we will have in the future. Since the AFGE and the Marine Copr along with Acency (NAF) paybanding contract we loose lots of employees. With the AFGE working together with the Personnel system this helps most employees and thier families save thier jobs an thier rights to speak or stand on their own. Sometimes the Management Personnel System play favortism, play their games with people's lives, but AFGE Unoin is able to go in as these employees Rep and thelp them. If this NSPS takes effect, there will be a lot of people loosing jobs, the employees deserve the right to voice thier opinion, pay increases, right to pseak on their own, etc... There are some Managers out there that they don't deserve to have jobs on the workforce, with the NSPS takes effect some of them will take advantage of this system. Currently as a NAF paybanding employee work for MCCS altogether for at least ten years; I practically have to cry and scream at Managers that I work hard and I deserve a raise. But they don't give it to you until two months later. Imagine with the NSPS what impact will I or other employees have down the line. Not only this; both my husband and I are NAF paybanding. This will affect our family as well. We never know what will happen with our jobs sicne we will loose most our rights to fight, take care of our relatives or children when they are sick, we will not able stand up for our rights, etc... My husband work for the MCCS since he got out of the service in 1992. And in this area (Twenty-nine Palms, CA) military work is the only place that most jobs are offered. Not too many city jobs, or other agency available for people in this community. This is not fair at all for taking all the rights of the employees away. The US talks a lot about freedom but what is this. Where is the freedom for these employees including myself and hubby end up when this NSPS takes effect. Not only at DoD workforce, but social security privatization. Please do something good for ALL people. I pray and hope that Bush Administration will pray harder and think about other people's lives and their families. I will pray for these people who are responsible to change this NSPS to have love and considerations or change of hearts before March 16. I pray that you don't delete this letter and please read because my family depends on this NSPS. Can you people find in your heart to please ammend this NSPS? Please make something good and effective for ALL not just certain people. People are peole and they are all equal in God's eyes no matter what you are. May God bless.
