Subpart D Section 9901.512 There's a potential of probationary periods being unreasonable lengths of time. l think one year is long enough of a probationary period, as is current. l also don't feel it's fair for an employee to be set into a probationary period every time an employee changes jobs, whether it's a voluntary move or an involuntary move. This means the employee could end up on indefinite probation and would have no rights at all the entire time they're employed. This is TOTALLY unfair! The employee is already employed within the federal government so by the time the employee finishes his/her first year of probation, his/her employer should know what kind of employee they will turn out to be.
