There is a great concern among the work force regarding the additional "power" that supervisors will have over employees if NSPS is passed. No matter how much training is provided to supervisors, there will still be many who will allow personal feelings to interfere with their rating of employees' work performances. Many good employees may not receive well-deserved pay increases if their supervisors choose not to give them the proper job performance rating. BOTTOM LINE: Favoritism in the workplace will not decrease, but rather rise dramatically, if NSPS is implemented. If the government is looking to find better results from their civilian work force, then NSPS is NOT the answer.
