I have been working in Civil Service for more than 20 Yrs. I do not agree to the drastic changes that are being proposed.Pay Bands,employees will have very little if any say so on where they will work, no choice in pay raises due to a Supervisor who has the last say so.There's a good chance you could be moved to another state with very little notice.People will not be able to complain to a higher authority when their being unfairly treated.You as a worker will have very few if any rights to protect yourself. I strongly feel this new plan will cause most Federal Workers to leave- Federal Service especially hard working & dedicated ones. I really feel the current Federal Service plan stay the same.If you want quality workers to stay .Work on getting rid of the many deadbeats & non-working people who are along for just the ride. Supervisors have always had this power, but many do not use it .This is when favortism kicks in. It is the hard working employee's who have to pick up the slack of the deadbeats and get harrassed the most .I know this to be a fact,because I have lived it first hand for many years...Please leave this current plan in place... If this Plan passes.It will create more problems than you already have.The people we are suppose to protect will suffer the most...Never change a good thing...The future is" EVERTHING"...
