Pay rates in NSPS will be based upon pay rates for like jobs in the local market (private market, I assume). In my job, I perform at least four different functions (these are all in my official job description) - none of which have ever appeared together in any private sector job description I have ever seen. How will this be addressed? Will I be given four salaries? Also, most government functions do not have civilian counterparts. How will the pay rates be determined in these cases?
