9901.515 Internal Placement Reinstatement, if an Employee is removed from Federal Service as the result of an MRO (i.e. arrested and charged with a crime that could lead to imprisonment) is proven innocent and asks for reinstatement, there is no guarantee that the Employee can return to their original pay grade and position, no due process or mitigation of circumstances.
