I see nothing good about this proposed change. Why is it being made? Why now? Are you going to do a study to see how many civilian employees actually want this change? I've been reviewing the notices posted to the NSPS website and have yet to read one in favor of the change. Excuse me if I'm a little suspicious of any change that is pushed (or should I say shoved) through by this current administration. It is very apparent that they are in favor of the rich, but not in favor of the poor, the working class (or soon to be non-existent middle-class) if they have their way. Nor are they for women, children, the environment, etc. I could go on and on...I'm sure we'll be invading Iran quite soon as Dick Cheney's company, Haliburton, is already over there. How strange since American companies are not supposed to be doing business with Iran.....I know our service men and women are stretched thin, thanks to our current administration...what better way to "backdoor" draft civilians over to Iraq and Iran....to do the job and free up the soldier. The only thing is the service men and women knew that they had a good chance to be deployed when they signed up....I didn't! If this goes through, govt. civilians can be paid as poorly as our service men and women! Woo hoo!
