I think this will be a positive change if it is implemented and processed fairly. Currently, in some organizations, unproductive employees are rated as highly as those who perform in an exceptional manner. These undermines the exceptional performers and lowers morale. If the managers are the ones that are rating the performance of employees what will change the practice of giving all exceptional ratings across the board regardless of performance and rewarding true performers? I think we really need training on the NSPS and then we should be allowed to make comments.
