It is bad enough under the WAGE GRADE Pay system (WG), that we don't get locality pay or the large pay raises that the GS or General Schedule employees get, but to implement a system that requires no raises, a raise for performance, or a raise soley upon the Managers opinion is the bottom of the barrel as far as things can get. We are already 28% behind the private sector, the only benefit we have is LEAVE. The Health Insurance plans are going up every year and they stink to begin with! The Wage Grade people at an Army Depot are why the depot is there is the first place, they do the WORK! The Managers just keep the time sheets, in most cases know nothing about the job at hand and now YOU are going to let the Managers GIVE RAISES?? Someone definitely FLUNKED management 101 here people! Our Management just gave us a piece of Propaganda saying NSPS is not So bad, and if you saw how they addressed everyones concerns, you would be scared to death! The people who are involved in this just do not want people to have a lifelong Career anymore. They want to use people up like a dirty rag and lay them off or fire them when they are done with them. We at this organization have already seen the ILLS of using Lockheed Martin contractors in place of Federal Workers. The most discusting part of this is that the contractors are paid about $5 more per hour, know nothing about the job, and are not held accountable by their boss or our Government Managers. Now you are going to implement a system to keep better track of us.....why don't you just tell us the truth and say you just want to give money to Large Contractors! These actions and this NSPS system are Direct attacks on our workers basic rights....why we took a Federal job in the First place! To serve our country and in exchange for LESS pay be treated with a little respect and job security is why we are working here. UN-American is what this system is! You know what the worst part of all this is?? That someone could actually recommend it in the first place! The people behind this can NOT have any people skills at all and can care less about their fellow man!
