Illegal, immoral, obscene, indecent, obscure, negative, ambiguous, unclear, unresponsive, revolting, unethical, unjustified! Now that I've addressed the more civilized aspects of the NSPS I can address the really bad aspects: NSPS will legalize and promote the fair-haired child system. Cronyism, nepotism and all the things which are currently (barely) held in check by the current system. Yes I have read the whole thing and I can't believe what my superiors have proposed. It says, "indicate sections addressed in your comments"! With only 4000 characters it's impossible, there are too many bad portions to address. I thought I was a minority in my assessment of this abortion. Now that I have read hundreds of other comments I realize I am in the 99.9 percentile! What will it take to convince the authors of this abomanation to realize they have made a big mistake? It would take a 100 page document to refute and counter all the mis-steps included in the NSPS. I know no one will listen to the many hundreds/thousands of comments. No one really cares what we think. When the demo projects rolled out everyone (workers) was against it and it continues to go forward. The NASA real life example is too revealing, managers gave themselves all the money, the peons got the shaft. Will anyone use a real life example, HELL NO!!! Real life examples are of no use to Government bureaucrats. No one likes to be told their baby is ugly, this one is still-born, deformed and premature. I have seen so much abuse, favoritism, nepotism and other forms of managerial wrongdoing I can not fathom the idea of giving managers authority over the life and well being over me and my family. I served in the military and even paid back the retirement part, now you propose to take away the tenure I PAID for??? Isn't there a law against some one paying for something then having the item taken back without having their money returned???? I voted for Bush and I defended Bush. I thought he was compassionate. I can not believe this church-going man would allow such an atrocity. I will be against Bush and his party for the rest of my life for renigging on the terms of my employment and messing with my family's livelyhood. I served proudly in the military and now I am a deployable asset?? What kind of psycho is in charge?? Deploy yourself! Let me finish serving my country with a little pride and dignity. If you don't want me then let me retire but don't insult and demoralize me with your pathetic chest-pounding National Security rethoric. Do your jobs and go after the real security risk individuals. Don't insult us by claiming our supervisors should control our pay to make America secure and safe! If you are smart you will ensure we stay secure in our jobs helping and protecting the soldiers. Your proposal makes me sick to my stomach and after reading all the other comments everyone else is just as sick. But who cares?? I have military superiors who rotate out every two years. They could care less about our careers. They're not even here long enough to learn the system and you want them to control my future?? I RECOMMEND YOU ALL GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD AND REMEMBER WHO SERVES AND PROTECTS THIS COUNTRY.
