Dear Sirs I am writing this to try and get the message to the people in charge that they are making a huge mistake. In attempting to read and disseminate the proposed NSPS sweeping reforms, I can only shake my head in disbelief. It is a document that is stripping away workers rights that have been hard earned through the years. I believe that this is the current administrations attempt to turn the clock back on workers rights, remember the sweat shops and wonderful working conditions, before there were unions. You might be thinking that the proposed NSPS is a step in the right direction, but it is actually it is a step in the direction of nepotism, old boy clubs, and just plain worker abuse. How is it possible in this day and age that this can happen??? Don’t get me wrong I also believe that the current personnel management system needs some updating, but this is a slap in the face for all workers in the United States, What is going to take place in the private sector if this NSPS goes through? I can’t help but think that this is just another way that the proponents for big business (the money men behind the current administration) are dictating another sweeping reform that they are wrapping up in the American Flag and are camouflaging in the fear generated by 9-11. And at the same time anyone that wants to amend, change, or question what is being jammed down the throats of Federal Workers are being labeled as Un-American. I have not heard anything good from anyone who has read about or kept current on with regards to this NSPS. But then again I am only talking with the people that will be adversely affected by it, which are all Federal Workers, First the Navy Federal Workers Then…..the rest of U.S.
