Comments:
The two big problems I see with NSPS are: 1. 300K employees being involved in sprial one. I think that is to many and indicates an attempt to rush deployment of the system without any clear understanding of outcomes. An attempt to drastically change the Civil Service System of the United States should be handeled with more care and only after serious study and testing. 2. The politicizing of the Civil Service System. If this system is rushed through without thorough testing and it is later discovered that an end result was the politicizing of the DOD Civil Service System it could prove catistrophic for the country. It may prove to be a critical first step in the eventual collaspe of an independent government public service sector and a return to the spoils system.
