Comments:
The NSPS appeals process looks strangely similar to the internal DOD investigations of the prison abuses at Abu Ghraib...the fox guarding the henhouse. The new system is clearly aimed at union busting and despotic control of civil service employees, not to mention ensuring political correctness. Why not just contract out the entire department? I am grateful I am close to retirement because the new system erases all the reasons I entered civil service in the first place. It does away with idealism, service and yes, patriotism, all under the guise of 'national security.' Finally, quite frankly, I'm afraid to sign my name to this.
