Comments:
From my experience with the Federal Government, this system will only benefit the people who "suck up" to management. I have worked for the government for over 30 years and I have seen this happen time and time again. The people who do their job and are good at it are the last to be recognized, if at all. The people with the outgoing personality and "sex appeal" have always been the first to be rewarded. I think the new system will only encourage more of this. A supervisor who recognizes hard work and dedication by his employees and rewards them for it is far and few between.
