Please process the last and final step increase for all eligible employees who would have received their scheduled pay increases within 6 months of the planned changeover to National Security Personnel System (NSPS). This final step increase would help them with the transition process by earning a well-deserved benefit prior to starting the new pay system. Some employees have worked hard and waited up to 23 months for the next scheduled increase and miss the opportunity by as few as 20 days due to the changeover of the pay system. This will really help the transition into NSPS.
