The Payband issue, paying employees for performance, is the biggest bunch of HOGWASH ever devised. The Good ol' boy system is back and kicking in the Federal Sector again. If you want to REALLY solve this problem here's a concept: Let's make SUPERVISORS do THEIR jobs and DOCUMENT if an employee isn't performing up to established standards. Then they can take appropriate action instead of shotgun blasting those of us who do our jobs and letting supervisors reward their BUTT-KISSING Favorites with raises and rewards. My supervisor and I get along quite well, but I have seen instances where an employee worked really well and because his or her supervisor held something against them for something they had done or someone related to them had done was held against that amployee and in turn, held them back from performing to their full potential. No amount of safeguards in the world will ever prevent this from happening.
