I say YES, YES, YES to the new NSPS system. I think people are running scared because if you're doing your job then you won't have a problem with the change. There are so many people in the government system right now who rank really well in the GS system and making good money who ARE NOT DOING THEIR DARN JOBS!!!! AND ARE NOT DOING QUALITY WORK TO BENEFIT THEIR DIRECTORATES OR THE GOVERNMENT AS A WHOLE. The American people's tax dollars fund their salaries and they aren't putting forth a good effort and then there are those who are working their behinds off but have sorry people to work with. When we were all hired, we took an oath to defend, protect and serve just like the officers. And if you're not willing to do that, then get another job. I'm glad because then people like me who work their fannies off and go above and beyond their job description will get compensated while people who hide behind the career permanent status like tenured teachers do, should get booted out and let someone with some energy who cares about the United States and defending its right can come in and make good changes that will protect our nation. Too many people are getting too lasy and comfortable on the job and that's why we have major problems in the government system now. I say get rid of them and get us some people we can work with that can make this nation safer so our brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and good co-workers won't have to live through another 9/11.
