I strongly oppose the change to the NSPS. This change will not be fair to all employees. This change will give management the ability to overlook the promotion of hard working employees while it will give them the ability to play favortism to others. One good thing about the general schedule is the step increase that we look forward to. If you are in a position where there is no advancement at your job for your field then the step increase is all that you have to look forward to. If that's taken away you have nothing. This will only force you to look elsewhere for employment and this move would affect not only you but your family as well. Also to have the ability to request an employee to be relocated at any time. Where's the security? That's the one thing every employee looks for when considering a job. Has anyone thought of how this may affect families with children in daycare? The possibility of not knowing when your work day will end. I like things just the way they are let's keep it this way.
