I am currently under a pay for performance system but many in my office call it pay for favoritism. I would love to be paid for my performance but the fact is my supervisor has no clue what my performance is nor does he care. The new plan talks all about communication and clear cut objectives, as does the plan I am currently under. However, my supervisor used generic objectives and has never discussed them or our contributions with us at midterm or end of cycle. He doesn't even read our input! You will be giving TOO much power to the lazy supervisor under this plan. Everyone is telling you, but will you listen?????
