I am an active duty member in the USAF, and have worked with many civilians during my career. It's about time something was done to correct this problem. These gov't employees have been hiding behind their unions far too long. They are not flexible, and are unconcerned about the mission. When the job doesn't get done, military members have to suck it up and do it. The AFGE Local 1869 here put an open letter in the base paper complaining about the NSPS, and urged people to contact their congressman. It appears that they are afraid that someone is going to make them earn their paycheck.
