Part of the problem with NSPS is that DoD employees have not been briefed by anyone here at Fort Drum. Therefore, it is difficult to comment on NSPS when I don't know what is fact or fiction. I have been told that DoD will be able to deploy me any where in the world under NSPS. When I came to work for DoD that was not the case. If this is true I feel current employees should be grand fathered. Bottom line is I feel DoD did a poor job of informing DoD employees of the provisions of NSPS.There is a lot of misinformation floating around Fort Drum. I have attempted to determine what spiral my organization is in without results. I work at Fort Drum but come under 1 Army out of Fort Gillim,GA. DoD needs to explain to the troops NSPS prior to expecting comments.
