I am shocked! Back in the 1980's certain congressmen decided that the american public could not expect congressmen to be honest in their actions when they only earned a mere $80.000 per year and therefore their level trust could be achived if they had a yearly income of at least $120.000. Here's my point, I would like them to be subject to the same rules they try to impose upon thier constituents. I'd like to impose a pay for performance rule on them. I know we could save a ton of money. This is the only time in history where we have several retired presidents receiving retirement pay in excess of $200.000 at the same time. The NSPS issue for me. To dictate that my locality pay is going to based on performance is...ludricrous. What are you people smoking? I guess if you take away my locality pay because of performance I, like my congressmen before me, ask you sirs How can you expect me to honestly be motivated if the locality pay is my incentive?
