I see no need to fix a system which is, in my opinion, not broken. The only problem I see is that there are too many escape routes a poor performing employee may take to avoid making the efforts to become a good worker. Providing a supervisor with quicker actions he may take to bring a poor performer up to standard would be helpful to supervisors and coworkers as well. Please don't change a system that we all understand, respect and appreciate. The new system seems to strip the worker from all of his rights.
