9901.342(a)2 The rating of record is used for a performance pay increase on a completed appraisal period, except the appropriate rating official determines the inconsisitent with that rating. Who is the rating official????????????? Does this mean that someone else that I do not know rates me on my pay increase or decrease, that is not my supervisor/manager. Is this person a member of the same squad that I am in or is it someone on the base that I am at and who appoints this person to this duty. Too many lope hole in this program that is not clear and management can do what they want and the rights of the employee have been taken away, thought the goverment wanted to keep good employees, where they felt that their boss (the goverment) was there to support them as they (the employee) do when they do their job. Not take their rights away from them.. I wonder if the goverment would allow the private sector of business to be able to do this to their employees, when the employees would say this is unfair and we are not treated equally?????
