I do not agree with the rules set up by the NSPS. It is not right to eliminate rights that workers are already receiving. The Army Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) where I have worked for seventeen years has always been several dollars an hour below what people in the private sector are paid. It is not right to let supervisors determine if an employee deserves a pay raise or not. If a supervisor does not like someone, no matter how well that employee does their job they will not get a pay raise. It also is not right to limit appeal decisions and not to receive a fair hearing if an issue does arise. Workers will do a better job if they feel that management supports them in the benefits they receive. Nobody likes to have their benefits messed with. The morale among workers at AAFES is low and this does effect job performance, plus the good will among the workers here. AAFES has lost several good workers who have found other jobs with better benefits and pay. I am sure you would not like to see this happen to you. Please help support us to retain the rights we have fought hard to achieve.
