For once, I would like to see our government make a decision based on what's best for the people instead of themselves! This National Security Personnel Management plan is NOT was is best for us. Your (government officials) pockets have been lined enough at our expense; now your trying to take our rights away? You talk about rights, responsiblities, discrimination, fairness for everyone? You've talked the talk; now why don't you walk the walk. You've made yourselves rich enough, now why don't you start taking care of the American People? There is still some problems with the "good ole boy" system and you opening the doors for a more corrupt government. I am not accusing all managers of being corrupt, But here on the military base I work, there is still alot of the "good ole boy" system still going strong. This is something, we, the people and the union have been trying to clean out of this base. Now, you are basically saying, "Go ahead, lie, cheat and steal, cause we are now making it legal" Why don't you get off your "power trips" and actually think something all the way through and just once, put yourselves in our shoes? Our government sends Our men and women off to war to prove something, what, we are good and we are fair. First of all, why aren't some of our "Suits" out there on the front lines? Cause your too busy sitting in some office trying to screw up the rest of our lives. You want to get the corruption out of Iraq; That's fine, but why don't you also get the corruption out of the United States of America. Some of you are no better than Saddam himself. Try to use your conscience when making some decision concerning the American people. This proposal of yours is NOT what is best for us; it's not good for us one bit. If you are going to take us down the drain, then why don't you go with us this time?
